How to prepare
Peel the shrimp with care to keep the tail, make sure to remove the black thread that is in the back area, and then group the shrimp into a suitable dish until you start using it.
Add lemon juice, soy sauce, shata and pepper and other ingredients in a blender, and turn on medium speed, until you get a smooth mixture.
Add the marinade prepared over the shrimp, make sure to wrap the whole shrimp with this marinade, and then leave to soak for at least 10 minutes.
Mix the ingredients for the dough, which include flour, baking powder, spices, and mix well with a fork.
Gradually add iced water to the previous ingredients, stirring constantly until you get a smooth liquid dough without any lumps.
Heat a quantity of oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat for frying.
Dip the shrimp in the liquid dough, by grabbing them from the tail area, dip their body into the dough, and then drop the shrimp into the hot oil.
Leave the shrimp in hot oil until golden, remove from the oil, and place on blotting paper to get rid of the extra amount of oil.
Repeat the same process with the rest of the shrimp.
Serve the crispy prawns with grilled vegetables and chopped lemon.
